Aplington Elementary Media Center Website The Media Center at Aplington Elementary and the Aplington-Parkersburg Middle School is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Students are able to check out materials from a variety of sources.  We offer thousands of fiction and nonfiction books, biographies, reference materials, magazines and movies. Accelerated Reading Tests, All the Right Type and the online catalog program called Alexandria are available on the computer for students to use.  Students search the online catalog to look up library resources. iMac computers are available for students to work on during the school day.  Laptops are also available for school use.  There are two portable labs that contain 40 laptops for student and teacher use. Checkout Details: Books and Magazines are checked out for 2 weeks Movies are checked out for 3 days.
